Love actually

For the romantic ones, love is everything Although love doesn't have much to do with a feeling, it's more about a decision.

I was looking for something interesting to post on this blog, and read this article that truly shows what an odd act can actually be...love!

On the tragic day of 9/11 several men and women lost their loved ones. Most of the messages sent to those who had suffered this immeasurable loss were messages of love.

Two women, who lost their husbands in that day, were able to find strength and make a very hard decision after the attacks: help widows in the Afghanistan. They saw this tragic event as an opportunity to fight poverty with educational projects in order to help Afghan wowen to support themselves and find better (or their first) jobs.

In a time of the year, when hatred all over the world seems to be the right answer, it is good to know that some people, believers or not, do believe that the act of Love is better.

May we all learn to decide to love when the easiest way is checking out.

  1. Good point Heyde! W need to learn to love without thinking about it. It needs to turn into a vern instead of a noun!

  2. Love is powerful and unstoppable. God is Love. Love will always overcome all barriers to reveal itself. Absolute and unconditional love is the demands of God for others.
